From: bhavani, Brillius [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Environmental Energy Lab Engineer Location: Cupertino, CA Role Description: We are looking for an Environmental Energy Lab Engineer to support Apples various Environmental objectives and initiatives, considering current and future key global regulatory requirements. Your work requires you to closely partner with Product Environmental Engineers/Program managers and Subject Matter Experts to support initiatives on energy efficiency. Key Requirements Minimum two years experience in a hardware product-related lab testing environment Experience with data parsing (using Python, SQL, Swift) (any of: plist, json, xml, csv, txt) and/or testing and maintaining architectures for databases Experience employing a variety of SW languages and tools to marry large volumes of data from various sources Individual who thrives in the details and able to manage multiple deliverables Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail Excellent communication and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment Experience working at Apple and Apple internal tools is a plus Job Description: The individual will work closely with Environmental Engineers and Subject Matter Experts to support product launch activities for various Apple products. The individual executes energy efficiency testing on development products and disassemble products for testing. They will be responsible for improving product development processes in the form of creating SOPs and automating routine tasks (e.g. energy analysis). Education and Experience AS/BS degree in Computer Science preferred with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
