Title: Scrum Master Location: Tampa, FL Duration: 12+Months Experience: 4-6yrs Note: Please do not submit OPT, CPT & H4 Job Description: Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year. Should have managed at least 2 different Agile projects. Should possess excellent communication skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency Knowledge of well documented patterns and techniques to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: various Burndown techniques, different Retrospective formats, handling bugs, integration etc.) The ability to distinguish between what "is Scrum" what is "not Scrum" Needs to have experience executing Agile projects involving node.js and iOS development work. Minimum 2 years Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Scrum and Agile. Guiding and Coaching the Scrum Team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers and in inculcating the importance of self-organization Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment. Building a trusted and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving. Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution Smoothly integrate self with the organizations visions and values. Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information Supporting and educating the assigned business contact (responsible as a Product Owner), in refining/grooming and managing the product backlog. Prioritizing User stories, supporting selection and development of stories for sprints (overall release planning) and in adopting and establishing proven estimation processes for each sprint - preferably using story points. Experience working in scrum of scrum scenarios and ability to coordinate dependencies between multiple scrums.
