| Job Title: Embedded Software Test Lead Location: Palo Alto, California - Onsite Keywords: V&V, Python, Python Automation, System Testing, C++ Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Functional Tester to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities: Experience with test automation frameworks for embedded systems. Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes (CICD). Develop and execute functional test plans for embedded software applications. Conduct thorough testing of embedded systems, including identifying and documenting defects. Proficiency in scripting language for test automation (e.g., Python, PyFast). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Knowledge and experience in Validation and Verification Protocols - Medical Device (e.g., ISOs IEC 62366:2007) is desired. Collaborate with verification engineers, product architects to understand Halcyon software product requirements, software verification protocols, current automation framework. Develop and maintain automated test scripts (Python scripts) against Avalon 1.0 Control system embedded software verification protocols, by leveraging existing automation framework APIs/ Keywords. Maintenance of automation scripts, scripts configuration management in JAMA environment. Perform dry run to ensure the test scripts are accurately reading the motion records of all the 9 (nine) control system accurately and meeting the intended functionality of embedded software verification protocols. Perform formal automation testing and archive the verification logs, test results in designated repository. Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues found during testing. Collaborate with PV Automation framework team for the development of APIs/ Keywords, leverage industry best practices to enhance the automation coverage and continuous improvement. Collaborate with verification engineers to understand testing requirements and translate them into automated test cases. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as an Embedded Software Functional Tester or similar role. Experience with test automation frameworks for embedded systems. Proficiency in scripting language for test automation (e.g., Python). Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes (CICD). Knowledge and experience in Validation and Verification Protocols - Medical Device (e.g., ISOs IEC 62366:2007) is desired. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
