We are looking for a T-SQL developer to develop SQL queries, procedures, functions and views to support an in house ETL tool. You will be responsible for designing databases related technical solutions and ensuring their stability, reliability and performance. Apart from that ongoing support will also be required to make sure core application is not impacted which supports many business applications.

SQL Developer duties and responsibilities

# Development of high qu ality database solutions to support the ETL tool

# Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL

# Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements

# Design and create tables, views, triggers, partitions, comple x stored procedures, functions, indexes and other database objects

# Support extracting and transforming data using DTS SSIS Import Export Data, Bulk Insert, BCP and DTS SSIS Packages

SQL Developer requirements and qualifications

# 7 years of expe rience as a SQL Developer or similar role

# Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming

# BS MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

# Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server

# Good knowledge of Python scripting

# E xperience building and maintaining SSIS packages

# Good understanding of STFP file transfer mechanism is a plus

# Past experience of SQL Encryption Decryption to handle sensitive data

# Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company#s success

# Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

# Good documentation skills

# Team player

# Good time-management skills

# Great interpersonal and communication skills
