Experience working with relational databases (3+ years). Experience programming in SQL or Structured Query Language (3+ years). Experience programming in SAS (3+ years). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Conduct meeting sessions with internal and external stakeholders to gather existing and needed data requirements for pre-hospital, hospital and post-hospital stroke data as directed by the Department. Conduct analyses (gap, implementation, process analyses) of current state of Floridas existing pre-hospital (Emergency Medical Services - EMS) stroke data collection methods and quality of data collection. Compile and analyze medical data using the Departments EMSTARS/Biospatial applications and analytical tools. Analyze and identify the data requirements and methodology to link EMS pre-hospital data with the Florida Stroke Registry. Create datasets/queries/reports of needed pre-hospital (EMS) data to support linkage efforts to the Florida Stroke Registry (FSR). Prepare reports, data summaries, and other written documentation of stroke surveillance activities as directed by the Department.
