AI Software Engineer III . Location:. 100% remote. Duration : Long Term Contract. MAX Rate: $55. Visa Restrictions: No H1b/CPT . Job Description: - Will be working with the CIO to set up an AI steering committee, bringing in business leaders across the organization to discuss future AI products --> Will also be responsible for maintaining accountability, education, training, etc. - Will be working with the hiring manager on GPU architecture, computer vision POC (proof of concept) thats functioning right now on one of their lines in the plant but maxed out on what they can do with CPU --> need GPU to speed up ML on the line with real time computer vision - Will be spearheading a team for security who has a passion for AI --> have one person internally who helped build the original POC, this person will be involved with that too - Will be looking at a digital assistant, such as Chatbot with GPT capabilities, have a few ideals potentially with hr, new employee orientation process and customer service right now - They did a ML POC (proof of concept) with Oracle --> have oracle in-house and they came in and talked about them having the latest and greatest with a product called Select AI which is an AI product over the database, with them having Oracle data in Oracle Cloud, they could take advantage of whats out there and put generative AI over that so this person will be helping out here as well - Preventative maintenance --> how do I prevent lines from breaking down preventatively based off sensor data, still ML feel but still preventative based off sensor data, have a partner engaged with here so not necessarily needing the AI expertise here but will be involved Skills: artificial intelligence, oracle cloud, azure Additional Skills & Qualifications: - Have an idea of tools/technologies but this person will be helping to affirm the right technologies to do AI. - Not necessarily asking this person to build custom models either but want someone to take the charge and help them make those decisions. - Would like someone who has experience looking at other API-based frameworks. - Will help to design and implement AI solution that will enhance their business processes. - Will be working with cross-functional teams that include data scientists, software engineers and business stakeholders. - Design and develop scalable and efficient AI architectures. - Machine learning algorithms, streaming and computer vision experience. - Would like this person to have experience with Microsoft Azure OpenAI and/or CoPilot. - Experience with .NET development for best practices along with any familiarity with Oracle technologies would be helpful. - Doing POC on floor with computer visioning and have a partner and a model thats able to detect things but developers dont know what to do with those models with streaming (is it Kafka, other tools) - This person will be heavily involved in the decision making and leadership.
