Position: Senior PHP Developer Location: 6+ Months Contract Duration: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid) Visa: No H1b/CPT Interview: Video Job Description: The candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality PHP modules and supporting front-end development as needed Responsibilities Develop PHP web applications using frameworks like CodeIgniter, following industry best practices. Understand and implement fully synchronous behavior in PHP. Support front-end development using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Write quality back-end code and build efficient PHP modules using object-oriented programming. Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and their query languages. Familiarity with Linux OS, virtual machines, and REST APIs. Create technical/design documents as needed. Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges. Ensure accessibility and security compliance. Implement design principles for scalable applications. Integrate multiple data sources and databases. Use code versioning tools such as Git. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and deliver quality code after thorough unit testing. Handle multiple priorities and provide support to resolve production issues. Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience interacting directly with all levels of business stakeholders. .Net development experience strongly preferred.
