Network Equipment Installation, Configuration & Management (Copper and Optical Fibre Cabling, Switches, Routers. etc..) Experience with Network Protocols: TCP/IP, Ethernet, L2/L3 technologies. Solid Understanding of windows & Linux/Unix Administration. Strong Communication Skills. Passionate about IT infrastructure and hardware. Good knowledge of data centre documentation Responsibilities Travel to the Data Centre in emergencies and on short notice. Ensure IT infrastructure maintenance (AMCs and support renewals). Ensure IT infrastructure security and efficiency (cabling, power, etc..). Maintain updated documentation (network Diagram, Rack elevation etc..). Ensure updated inventory.
