Role: Camunda Consultant Location: Iselin, NJ Duration: Contract Role Description: Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Camunda Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining business process management solutions using the Camunda BPM platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable process automation solutions. The role requires a strong understanding of BPMN 2.0, Java development, and integration with external systems. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for business process automation. Design and develop BPMN 2.0 compliant process models using the Camunda Modeler tool. Implement process automation solutions using the Camunda BPM platform, including process execution, task management, decision automation, and integration with external systems. Develop custom Java code and scripts to extend the functionality of Camunda BPM and integrate with external systems. Configure and optimize Camunda BPM runtime environments for scalability, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, testers, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of BPM solutions. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of BPM solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in BPM, Camunda BPM platform, and related technologies. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes, tools, and methodologies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Camunda Developer or BPM Developer, with at least [X years] of hands-on experience designing and implementing BPM solutions using the Camunda BPM platform. Strong understanding of BPMN 2.0 and experience in modeling complex business processes. Proficiency in Java programming language and experience developing custom Java code for BPM solutions. Experience in integrating Camunda BPM with external systems using REST APIs, Java APIs, and message-based integration. Familiarity with BPMN execution semantics, process orchestration, and workflow automation. Experience with Camunda BPM administration, configuration, and optimization is preferred. Knowledge of software development best practices, design patterns, and agile methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Camunda BPM certification(s) is a plus.
