Role: Microsoft O365 Platform Location: Ohio, Columbus Onsite Type: Contract Job Description: Strong Expertise in administering Microsoft 365, Exchange On-premises, Exchange Hybrid and Proofpoint. Experience and understanding of mail transport fundamentals (POP/IMAP/SMTP), including knowledge of DNS, Message Trace Tools, MX and SPF Records, Block Lists, SPAM, Email Filtering and Virus Protection. Create detailed documentation based on the project requirements. Experience in working on a Large M365 environment and able to handle all M365 workloads such as MS Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Azure AD etc. Experience in working on Azure AD Conditional access. Ability to work with vendors such as Microsoft/Proofpoint to resolve issues, provide RCA, improve product performance, and end user experience. Experience in scripting using PowerShell for Microsoft 365 and Exchange Server. Good understanding of Exchange Federation, Directory Synchronization, and Identity federation between Exchange servers at on-premises and M365. Possesses broad knowledge base of Microsoft 365 technical architecture and the inter dependencies with other enterprise services in Microsoft 365 Good knowledge in troubleshooting mail flow related issues. Experience with implementation/configuration of M365 messaging and collaboration tools including Exchange Hybrid. Experience with on-premise Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Hybrid deployments. Implementation of advanced functions of M365 Security and Compliance center, Microsoft Federation Integration with Office 365, Azure Administration of advanced functions of M365 Security and Compliance center, Microsoft Federation Integration with Office 365, Azure, and Identity Management. and Identity Management. Manage problem resolution to a satisfactory completion by keeping abreast of assigned tickets and following the proper escalation processes via ticketing system.
