Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: Cincinnati, OH (On-Site)- Only Locals Client : - Experis Duration: Contract Job Responsibilities: Tech Specifics: Familiar with javascript and specifically java script testing frameworks. Ideally web driver IO and specifically play write and puppeteer. NPM as well which is predefined command specified in the "test" property of a package's "scripts" object. Someone who has confidence in the java script environment. Proactive and an ability to learn new tools. Creates and executes against test cases. Creating unit tests and automated acceptance tests Create appropriate unit test coverage. Executes acceptance tests and maintains the test cases in a shared repository Creates and executes testing automation o Adhere to standards regarding code quality and design o Participate in code reviews o Follows defined branching strategies Responsible for smoke testing, functional testing (story/feature testing) using/enhancing existing automation framework/code, regression and integration testing of the application Understands the business rules and ensuring they are being implemented as per the architecture. Provides input into Acceptance Criteria, described in section 6 herein.
