The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operational tasks within the infrastructure team, ensuring the smooth functioning of systems and contributing to the optimization of overall infrastructure. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage day-to-day operational tasks for Linux systems. Perform system administration duties on Redhat/CentOS or Ubuntu platforms. Utilize Ansible and Puppet for configuration management. Develop tools and automations using programming languages such as Go, Python, and REST APIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency and reliability. QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience in Linux system administration, preferably on Redhat/CentOS or Ubuntu distributions. Proficiency in Ansible and Puppet for configuration management. Demonstrated ability to create tools and automations using programming languages such as Go, Python, or REST APIs. Knowledge of networking principles and protocols. Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud-init. Familiarity with datacenter operations and bare metal environments. Previous experience managing systems at scale. Additional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Proven ability to adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies.
