| Hi, Please find the requirement. Job Description : Role : Database Engineer - SQL Location : Burlington, MA - Onsite (Only Locals) Duration : Contract NOTE : We are looking for SQL L3+ resource with below skills and strong experience in performance tuning and Azure Cloud Skill required : MSSQL 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022 in Hosted and IaaS SQL VM in Azure. Experience with Azure SQL Database and Managed Instance databases in Azure Job Description: Ensure the availability and optimization of the MSSQL 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022 in Hosted and IaaS SQL VM in Azure. Experience with Azure SQL Database and Managed Instance databases in Azure. Make sure to follow technical standards and operational procedures to meet database performance, High Availability, replication, scalability, and security requirements in both hosted and cloud environments. The individual will need hands-on experience in design and troubleshooting real-time MSSQL related issues. Monitor performance on application databases, queries and suggest/apply continuous tuning. The responsibilities include working closely with application teams and other Stakeholders in identifying issues related to MSSQL. Must have experience in tuning of database instances. Responsible for producing standards to ensure that all application design and code is produced with proper integrity, security, and performance. The DBA will perform reviews on the design and code frequently to ensure the site standards are being adhered to. Has a good technical understanding and provides technical support to application development teams when necessary. Assist in resolving priority incidents to quickly eliminate impacts, participate in root-cause analysis, and support subsequent corrective and preventative actions. Work closely with Database Team Lead, collaborate with various Application support and engineering teams to optimize database performance and reliability. Senior Database Administrator are encouraged and supported to acquire relevant Azure certifications (e.g. DP-300, DP-900, AZ-900 Exam). Establish, maintain, and adhere to CRD technical standards, policies, and procedures. Required skill set: MS SQL Database Azure Databases IaaS Database Encryption Database performance Storage procedure DB performance tools used . DB performance analysis 3 stories where resource fixed the issues , what was the issues and how resource solved. Database is slow : how will you fix it or what are the possible reasons.
