The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AS/400 testing methodologies and tools. This role requires strong leadership skills to effectively coordinate testing activities and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The candidate must be able to work remotely and participate in live video interview sessions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the testing efforts for AS/400 applications, including test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting. Coordinate with development teams and business analysts to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies. Develop test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on functional and technical specifications. Execute test cases manually and/or using automated testing tools. Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of existing applications. Identify and report defects, track them to closure, and verify fixes. Provide leadership and guidance to the testing team, including mentoring junior testers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in AS/400 testing methodologies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in AS/400 testing, including experience in leading testing efforts. Strong understanding of AS/400 platform, including RPG, CL, and DB2/400. Experience working in the Retail domain, preferably with knowledge of SAP systems. Proficiency in test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or similar. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. Must be able to participate in live video interview sessions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with test automation tools such as Rational Functional Tester (RFT), Selenium, or similar. ISTQB or other relevant certifications in software testing. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools. Experience with SAP testing. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
