I have following requirement, please reply me back with profile along with rate expectation Sr. Networking Engineer Client: State of Florida Location: Hybrid, Tallahassee, FL (Local to Florida is Highly Preferred) Rate: $50-55H Experience: 8+ SCOPE OF WORK The DivTel Engineering team is responsible for overseeing and controlling the State Network's operations. This involves using various Network Monitoring tools, such as SEIM tools and the Network Operations Center ticketing system. The Contractors personnel shall work within DivTels Bureau of Engineering on project tasks as assigned by the DivTel lead engineer that include but are not limited to: 5.1.1 Monitoring the State Network's performance. 5.1.2 Managing alerts and tickets generated by the network monitoring tools. 5.1.3 Implementing necessary configurations and adjustments to ensure optimal network functionality. 5.1.4 Monitoring and assist in reporting issues with the network/system for greatest performance. 5.1.5 Providing timely updates and reports on the network's status to relevant stakeholders. 5.1.6 Collaborating with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve any network issues promptly. 5.1.7 Assisting to ensure the security of deployed applications. 5.1.8 Providing technical documentation of work performed in standard project team format. 5.1.9 Providing assistance performing network maintenance activities on current SEIM monitoring tools. Qualifications 5.2.1 The Contractors personnel shall have a bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or another related field, or equivalent work experience. 5.2.2 The Contractors personnel shall have 3 to 5 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments performing network engineering (hardware and/or software), design, planning and implementation. 5.2.3 The Contractors personnel shall have an advanced professional level of experience. As well as the ability to work on projects/systems of medium to high complexity surrounding network planning, configuration, and optimization. 5.2.4 The Contractors personnel may work on one or more projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project team lead, and may be asked to coach more junior technical staff. 5.2.5 The Contractors personnel must pass Background Screening and Security Requirements as described in Section 16 of this RFQ and any other requirements that may be listed herein. Communication 5.3.1 The Contractors personnel shall have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executive, managers, and subject matter experts. The Contractors personnel shall also demonstrate the following communication skills: 5.3.1.1 Able to communicate technical matters clearly in lay terms for full comprehension by non-technical users. 5.3.1.2 Facilitates team and customer meetings. 5.3.1.3 Delivers informative, well-organized presentation, if required 5.3.1.4 Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. 5.3.1.5 Seeks and participates in development opportunities above and beyond training. Problem Solving The Contractors personnel shall be responsible for solving problems using the following soft skills: 5.4.1 Attention to detail. 5.4.2 Logical thinking. 5.4.3 Creativity. 5.4.4 Persistence. 5.4.5 Adaptability. 5.4.6 Collaboration. Teamwork 5.5.1 The Contractors personnel shall be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams. 5.5.2 The Contractors personnel shall facilitate effective team interaction. 5.5.3 The Contractors personnel shall be willing to participate in all team roles. 5.5.4 The Contractors personnel shall develop relationships with staff and other Department contractors to foster customer ties. 5.5.5 The Contractors personnel shall communicate effectively with staff and other Department contractors at all levels to identify needs and evaluate solutions. 5.5.6 The Contractors personnel shall continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen both user and other Department contractor relationships. 5.5.7 The Contractors personnel shall maintain relationships with other external organizations through professional association links wherever possible. Meetings 5.6.1 All meetings will be held either in-person at 4030 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee, Florida, or via Microsoft Teams or other agreed-to video conferencing methods.
