You will also collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide insights and recommendations Expanding data team - Freeman Next & Freeman NOW - this person will come help with the transition Manish - manages data analytics team. They are working on building an azure data (lake) warehouse in freeman. Freeman Next - building a data analytics platform - will be pulling data from existing platforms to build a unified lake Must Haves 6+ years of experience Data engineer Building pipeline with ETL and Azure pipelines PowerBI Will be supporting their legacy environment and modernize the platform 100% a microsoft shop end to end so needs to be HEAVY Azure Needs SQL and python - Pyspark is preferred for development Fine with a contract heavy background Job Description Insert Here: At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or data integration using Azure cloud platform. Overall, should have greater than 7+ years of experience in ETL , Data warehousing, analytics Proficient in SQL and Python, and familiar with Spark Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, including Synapse SQL, Synapse Analytics, and Synapse Pipelines. Experience with Power BI development - their reporting tool Experience with other Azure data services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database Experience with data quality, data governance, and data security best practices.
