Job Description: As a Senior Cypress Quality Assurance Engineer at Augusta Hitech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications. Your expertise in Cypress and AWS will drive the development of automated tests and strategies to improve our software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated tests and frameworks using Cypress. - Lead quality assurance efforts for web and possibly mobile applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Implement continuous testing methodologies within a CI/CD pipeline. - Analyze test results, identify issues, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolutions. - Engage in test planning, including defining scope, establishing timelines, and providing time estimates to ensure timely and effective test execution. - Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, providing insights on test planning and risk assessment. Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 10 years of experience as a quality assurance and 2-3 years of experience in Cypress, with a focus on automated testing. - Extensive experience with Cypress testing framework. - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
