From: Prakash Singh, RCI [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: ETL Data Migration Specialist Duration: Raleigh, North Carolina (Remote with querterly visits) Contract: 12+ month Anticipated Start Date ASAP (their new company acquisition will likely occur in June, with full speed ramp up by August/ Sept) .. but they are willing to hire contractor tomorrow and have them complete a lighter work load for the months leading up. Theres work to be done now, we are happy to pay for the right person. Will be a continuous "contract" more than likely for first couple years with potential to convert over. Communication skills required: Ability to explain the technical to the nontechnical. Communication skills required to speak to business leaders to resolve data issues. Location: Remote (anywhere in US) comfortable traveling potentially on Quarterly basis Working hours/Hour Per Day: (flexible on hours per day but prefer comfortability working EST) Overall hours will fluctuate depending on what stage of the acquisition phase the company is in.. (also a selling point to candidate) 9 months on heavy working, with "off time" following although still being compensated heavily. Minimum Requirements: Move the data to where it goes map the data sources and clean it up, normalize it. Have to have used an ETL tool hands on experience. Ability to figure it out and talk to people it is a puzzle need to investigate the source data (assume it is bad) their last project had 40 data objects Additional Skills to look for Data person that understands the business side as well (can communicate with all levels of organizations they acquire to sort out data problems) Exp working with software company dealing with data.. big acquisitions and rapid integration Nice to Haves: Carve Out experience Somebody that is supporting sales data or cleaning up sales data NetSuite & SalesForce Exp , and Open Air are nice to haves The Data Migration Specialist will manage the data that powers our companies and partner with a diverse team of functional leaders to enable world class business operations. The Data Migration Specialist will be responsible for governing and maintaining data structures, validating business processes within our systems and evaluating their impacts on core data. A key success factor will be delivering rapid, accurate data migrations for acquired businesses. He/she will ensure that systems create and maintain accurate, clean, and complete enterprise data, including products, customers and contacts, contracts and all other core data that drives transactions, business intelligence and decision-making within our business. During an acquisition integration program, the Data Migration Specialist will work cross-functionally with all business functions to identify key sources of data and ensure that the data is cleansed, mapped, and migrated into existing data structures and systems on a timely and accurate basis. Responsibilities: Document and validate key enterprise business systems data structures across Lead-to-Cash, Talent, Professional Services, Support and Accounting functions Evaluate and document changes to data structures required by business process updates Drive changes to businesses systems and processes to create and maintain accurate data Own and maintain data flows across all Lead-to-Cash business systems Acquisition Integration Drive data migration planning activities for acquired businesses Identify key sources of enterprise data within acquired businesses Drive process across operational teams to cleanse, de-duplicate, map and transform data Ensure data from acquired businesses is loaded into core business systems on an accurate and timely basis Drive technical innovation and efficiency in data migration planning and execution during acquisition integrations Administration and Maintenance Create and maintain tools and processes to identify, clean and otherwise maintain clean and accurate data within core business systems Participate in any project deemed necessary by the organization Qualifications: A college or post-graduate degree in a technical field (MIS, Computer Science, etc.) or requisite education and experience 3-5 years of experience working in a corporate environment with common software industry business systems platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.) Multiple experiences migrating data across integrated business systems Hands-on experience using ETL tools to drive data migration activities Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Excel Experience using AI tools to accelerate data mapping, transformation, and migration preferred Proficient knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Domo, or other business intelligence tools preferred Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Business Process Expertise have a deep understanding of and ability to clearly articulate best practices across core business processes Data Migration multiple experiences migrating data across integrated business systems Drive & Discipline ability to focus and work hard to achieve the right results Mental Agility a keen intellect and comfort with complexity; enjoy tackling new challenges and solving problems; ability to 'think outside the box' and move concepts to implementation Detail Orientation be thorough and organized and consistently deliver high quality work Communication - clearly communicate ideas and results to diverse business and technical audiences using the appropriate tool for the job: email, presentation, training, etc. Hunger Appetite for learning & improving systems and processes Oriented to teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge sharing Excellent problem-solving skills Autonomy Keywords: artificial intelligence business intelligence information technology Delaware Looking for : ETL Data Migration Specialist Raleigh North Carolina : No H1 CPT [email protected] |
