Job Summary: As a Data Engineer at TCS, you will play a pivotal role in leading the transformation of data architecture from COSMOS to Azure Synapse SQL and Azure managed services stack. You will be responsible for orchestrating the shift from traditional data warehousing to a data mesh architecture, providing architectural planning for data management platforms, and driving solution modernization. Your expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Pharos, and Nitros will be essential for successful implementation. (Contract) Role: - Data Engineer Location: Seattle, WA / Bellevue, WA Client is TCS Technical/Functional Skills Essential Skills: 4-6 years of experience in data engineering roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, Azure Synapse, Pharos, and Nitros. Strong understanding of data architecture design principles and best practices. Experience with transitioning data architecture from COSMOS to Azure Synapse SQL and Azure managed services. Familiarity with data mesh architecture concepts and implementation. Ability to develop implementation roadmaps and Agile User Stories. Excellent coordination and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Hands-on experience in creating and managing Pharos Pipelines and Nitros Pipelines. Knowledge of Prompt engineering processes and Copilot onboarding procedures.
