The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data security, particularly with Imperva and Oracle technologies. As a Senior Data Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organizations sensitive data and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.Responsibilities: Administration and Maintenance: Deploy, configure, and maintain Imperva and Oracle data security solutions to protect sensitive data across our organizations infrastructure. Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks effectively. Security Monitoring: Monitor data access and usage patterns, analyzing logs and alerts generated by Imperva and Oracle tools to detect and respond to security incidents promptly. Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts, investigating security breaches or incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Policy Development: Develop and enforce data security policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Security Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust data security architectures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information. Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc., by implementing appropriate controls and regularly auditing systems and processes. Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness sessions to employees on data security best practices, raising awareness of potential risks and promoting a culture of security awareness. Vendor Management: Engage with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and select data security solutions, manage vendor relationships, and stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the field. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data security, with a focus on Imperva and Oracle technologies. Deep understanding of database security principles, including encryption, access controls, and database activity monitoring. Proficiency in configuring and managing Imperva SecureSphere and Oracle Database Security solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proven track record of leading security initiatives and driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
