Role: SAP MM/WM Consultant Location: Indianapolis, IN Duration: Contract Role Description: Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP MM/WM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules, with expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP solutions. The candidate should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Key Responsibilities: Implement and configure SAP MM/WM modules based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards. Lead and participate in all phases of the SAP project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate requirements into functional specifications and technical designs. Configure and customize SAP MM/WM functionalities, including but not limited to procurement, inventory management, warehouse management, and logistics execution. Provide guidance and support to end-users, including training, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a timely manner. Perform system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of SAP solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other SAP functional consultants, technical consultants, developers, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions. Stay current with SAP MM/WM trends, updates, and new features, and assess their potential impact on the organization's processes and systems. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize SAP MM/WM processes, enhance system performance, and drive business value. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP MM/WM implementation and support roles, with a strong focus on configuration and customization. In-depth knowledge of SAP MM/WM functionalities, including procurement, inventory management, warehouse management, and integration with other SAP modules. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into SAP solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and knowledge sharing. SAP certification in MM/WM modules is a plus.
