Implement security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive data transmitted via APIs. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance for scalability and reliability. Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and implementing API solutions using IBM DataPower appliances. Strong understanding of XML, XSLT, JSON, SOAP, and RESTful services. Experience with security standards and protocols such as OAuth, SSL/TLS, and SAML. Proficient in scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python. Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS) and protocol. Working knowledge on Monitoring platforms like Splunk, AppD, Instana, Grafana . Strong knowledge on REST APIs Knowledge on cloud platform preferable Microsoft Azure and OCP. Knowledge on Unix commands, networking concepts (security protocols and certificate management). Hands on experience on KONG API. Hands on experience on Spring Boot, Java 11, Microservices. Basic knowledge on CI/CD pipeline tools. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Should be able to lead incident call and communicate updates periodically. Plan and execute certificate creation/renewals as needed On-call support with flexible work arrangement. Basic Qualifications: 3+ Years of software development and 3+ years of technical support experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
