Role: DataStage Developer Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite Only Locals) Type : Contract Description: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage. Write and optimize PL/SQL queries and scripts for data manipulation and reporting. Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation and scheduling. Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes, PL/SQL scripts, and Unix/Linux scripts. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience in DataStage development. Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and Unix/Linux shell scripting. Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL programming. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
