| From: Farha khan, Tek Inspirations LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Job Description - Job Title: IT Technical Lead Location: Charlotte, NC 28203 (Onsite) Need Only Local or Near By With DL Duration: 9 Months Contract (possibility of extension) Need Candidate to have Lead Experience or Architecture Experience Description: Must have led and managed at least 3 to 5 mid-to-large-sized custom implementation projects. Drives execution for a complex technical project, collaborating with senior developers. Responsible for the overall monitoring and coordination of all the coding activities on the project Develops prototypes and evaluates alternate technical alternatives. Structures the technical work for a medium to high complexity project. Has expert knowledge of IT architecture principles and collaborates with the architecture team in the design of systems and application programs. Establishes and communicates technical goals and direction for team. Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff Possesses deep understanding of SDLC and application architecture concepts. Key Responsibilities: Breaking down existing Python-based business logic for implementation in SQL (Snowflake). Maintenance of some existing Python-based codebases. Working with IT and the business to specify IT requirements for features and stories. Liasing with business and IT teams to keep stakeholders informed and keep project on track. Working with team update legacy data pipelines. Ensuring new code adheres to best practices and team standards. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: SQL, Python, Git. Complex SQL, 5 years. Python, data analytics focus, 5-7 years. Requirements specification, 5-7 years. Be comfortable working outside of the Agile framework. This is a role on a business team, so lacks the supporting structure many IT developers may be reliant on for success. Be independent and self-motivated. Needs to be proactive about blockers and be able to independently solve problems. Deep Python experience is absolutely critical for this role. A successful applicant should be able to code in Python fluently. In general, a successful candidate should not need to refer to reference materials when coding in Python. A successful candidate be strongly conversant with: Python data structures Pandas data structures Object Oriented Python Development Data cleaning and munging using Python and Pandas Data analysis using Python and Pandas Deep SQL experience is also very important. A successful candidate should be conversant with: Window Functions Common Table Elements Recursive queries Pivots The successful candidate is comfortable with source code management tools like Gitlab and Github. Data modeling is useful because the team will be interfacing with a data modeling team, but this is not a data modeling role.
