| From: Shane, Abdisolutions [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description Position Title: Billing and Enrollment Business Analyst Contract Duration: 12 months with potential for extension Location: 100% Remote (consultant can be anywhere in the US but must work EST hours) Top 3 Must-Have Skills: 3 years of Analyst experience Experience with MembersEdge and NASCO systems Ability to navigate mainframe applications Position Description: The Billing and Enrollment Business Analyst will support operational functions within the health plan fulfilling Business Analysis functions for the team responsible for supporting and troubleshooting Billing and Enrollment functions within the NASCO Processing System (NPS) and MembersEdge environments. What Youll Get to Do: Interpret business needs and issues by gathering, eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating the Business areas user and technical (functional/non-functional) requirements. Under the direction of a Lead or Senior Business Analyst, participate in the creation of requirements documentation. Collaborate in the creation of project plans to define, organize, and schedule requirements management and development activities. Participate in requirements analysis and verification sessions and in the tracking and management of open issues and assists in planning for resolution. Contribute to development sessions and design reviews to ensure design meets user requirements. Be responsible for the overall success of user acceptance testing, including documentation, verification, and release. Implement practices and procedures for end-user test plans. Identify and document gaps in requirement adherence or system deficiencies/defects and coordinate appropriate action through issue resolution. Provide guidance and training to application end-users. Identify, document, and troubleshoot problems in systems, software, and processes. Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to monitor, report, and resolve issues. Participate in the development of solutions and workarounds that solve low complexity technical, system, and/or business issues. Review, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business systems and user needs. Be responsible for written documentation of requirements in a clear and well-organized manner. Develop key project and requirement deliverables for projects of low complexity. Monitor and report project status to identify and mitigate risks and to ensure quality and timely deliverables. Coordinate assigned projects from concept through implementation. Prioritize and manage new work requests. Youll Bring these Qualifications: 3 years of experience in functional, operational, business, data systems, or testing analysis. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelors degree). Prior experience working with NASCO and MembersEdge with the ability to navigate a mainframe application. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, effective deliverables on-time and be a valuable contributor to the development of cost-effective solutions. Moderate understanding of business analysis core competencies. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
