Role: Azure Databricks Developer Location: Chicago, IL Duration: Contract Key skills: Azure databricks, Machine learning Visa: Only H1b who can share passport number (No GC, No H4, No OPT) Note: It is not a data engineer role. Role Description: Responsibilities: Develop and optimize data processing and analytics solutions on the Azure Databricks platform. Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using Azure Databricks MLflow and Spark MLlib. Explore and preprocess data using Azure Databricks notebooks and Spark SQL. Engineer and select relevant features from raw data to improve model performance. Train, evaluate, and fine-tune machine learning models using Azure Databricks clusters and hyperparameter tuning. Deploy trained machine learning models into production environments using Azure Databricks MLflow. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and share insights. Optimize Spark jobs, workflows, and machine learning pipelines for performance and scalability. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in Azure Databricks development. Proficiency in Apache Spark programming using Scala or Python. Experience with Azure Databricks MLflow, Azure Machine Learning, or similar platforms. Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Azure Databricks certification and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification is a plus.
