| Greetings of the day. Job Title: Senior Liferay & Front-End Developer Location: 100% Remote - The client is in the US Central Time Zone so the candidate will need to work within 2 hours of CST. Position Type: Contract Full-time (4-6 months) with potential for renewal. We can do Corp. to Corp. Pay Range $60 an hour USD (could go higher for the right candidate) Overview: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing enterprise portals using enterprise Java-based Portals such as Liferay Portal, Liferay DXP, Infor Rhythm, or IBM WebSphere Porta. A minimum of 2 years of experience with Liferay is required. The candidate should possess strong expertise in Liferay, including versions up to Liferay 7.3, portlet development, theme development, installation, and configuration. Experience as a Liferay content manager would be a plus for this role. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain enterprise portals using Liferay Portal, Liferay DXP, or Infor Rhythm technology. - Design, develop, test, and deploy Liferay portlets and themes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications. - Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of solutions. - Troubleshoot and debug Liferay applications as needed. - Perform Liferay installation, configuration, and performance tuning. - Develop web applications using Angular, Vue JS, or React. - Serve as a Liferay content manager, if required. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when required. Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. -Minimum experience of 5 years of software lifecycle development with strong experience of 3+ years in enterprise portals - Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Liferay development. - Proficiency in Liferay Portal, Liferay DXP, or Infor Rhythm, including versions up to Liferay 7.3. - Strong understanding of portlet development, theme development, installation, and configuration in Liferay. - Experience in developing web applications using Angular, Vue JS, or React.
