Should be able to troubleshoot complex network security issues and shall have knowledge of intrusion detection and prevention systems along with understanding of risk assessment and vulnerability management. Knowledge, skills and duties: Managing upgrades, patches and certificates Planning activities, communicating status and preparing reports Performs system-level design, configuration, integration and implementation of perimeter security products to include firewalls, email security appliances, proxy devices, switches, and routers Analyze firewall policies and configurations Implement new platforms, code versions, and features to meet lifecycle management and business requirements Responsible for compliance with internal and external policies Identify configuration or policy flaws and gaps that increase risk or violate information security requirements Requirements: Overall 9+ years exp Minimum of four (4) years' experience with firewall technologies Experience in troubleshooting a broad range of network security technologies. Proficiency and experience in operating, maintaining and administering firewall infrastructure Experience in Unix/Linux administration Certificates from well-known network and firewall vendors are a plus Understanding of Cloud computing and Security. Experience with DevSecOps or other Agile methodology.
