| From: Subodh Kumar, TEK INSPIRATIONS LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Sr Cloud Infrastructure PM Remote position Contract Length: 6 months Job Description: The Cloud Infrastructure PM will provide technical project management for a wide-ranging portfolio of projects. The preferred candidate thrives by creating quality + rigor in ambiguous environments and projects or programs while leveraging their expertise in a technical domain of: Cloud Infrastructure & knowledge of Database & Network Operations. They demonstrate skilled communication by breaking down technical nuances throughout their work by providing inputs to project and portfolio oversight, anticipating risk + issues and actively resolving them, connecting the right resources to needs, and removing impediments to doing great work. They do all of this as part of day-to-day project management, and execution of projects across IT Operations disciplines. Responsibilities Assist in guiding cross-functional teams to develop, plan, and execute assigned projects Develop transparent and succinct communications that gain agreement and surface conflict that drive project / program delivery Monitoring and maintaining project schedules; ensuring that project objectives are met, and project is on schedule and within budget Collaborate with team members to create and maintain detailed, integrated project plans; use plans to drive on-time delivery for multiple matrixed, complex programs Actively and consistently communicating with project stakeholders with status reports, project schedule updates, and project risks Contribute to the development of project management best practices for the team, including creation of templates and business process improvements Identify resource / equipment / skill set bottlenecks in the plan and developing solutions to the bottlenecks Lead problem resolution and/or risk mitigation Provide project management mentorship to peers and junior team members Conduct project closure activities to formalize and communicate project acceptance, documentation, and ongoing activities. This includes a post-implementation review to identify areas of future improvement Create and manage the project planning Clarizen Project Management Tool Must have Skills: Demonstrated and consistent success in managing complex technical projects Diverse and deep experience in Project Management Project Management Certifications, Certified Scrum Master, or Project Management Professional credentials Results-oriented with the initiative to ensure that schedules and milestones are met across teams and projects Superior organizational/follow-up skills with effective capacity to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and projects without compromising on attention to detail Strong project management, communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills. Knowledge IT Cloud methodologies & terminology Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach with high sense of urgency and drive for result to produce innovation, agility, and velocity to support business-as-usual operations and new project implementation and administration.
