Kindly review the following job requirement and inform me if you are interested Job Role: EDI Specialist - intermediate professional level role Duration: 2+ years Contract role Location: Montgomery, AL (Onsite from day 1) Visa: Any Job Description: This role involves providing technical expertise and support for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and communication between trading partners, analyzing and developing Data Exchange Interfaces, participating in systems design and quality assurance activities. It includes creating and maintaining partner relationships with users and vendors, developing EDI mapping specifications and documentation, testing, implementing, and maintaining EDI transactions, handling communications with trading partners, and ensuring mapping compliance. Additionally, the position involves resolving technical issues, developing guidelines, checklists, procedures, and training documentation. Responsibilities include tracking communication, overcoming onboarding obstacles, ensuring hospital compliance with reporting criteria, and collaborating closely with stakeholders for successful data exchange in public health. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, project management skills, and a deep understanding of electronic data exchange and public health reporting requirements. Experience Required: Must have a minimum of 7-8 years in IT or related work experience in system design, analysis, and implementation, or equivalent educational background.
