[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Sr. SDET Engineer Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Experience: 13-15+ years Job Overview: Need a skilled SDET to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Android app & IOS framework creation & automation, strong programming skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality mobile applications. Responsibilities: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the automation testing framework. Ensure test scripts are modular, reusable, and maintainable. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Android applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Collaborate with developers, QA, and product managers to define test requirements and create comprehensive test cases. Conducts code reviews of test scripts created by the QA team. Participates in design and architecture reviews. Create and maintain detailed documentation for test cases, frameworks, and procedures. Take ownership of designing and implementing end-to-end automation frameworks for Android/ IOS app testing, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and efficiency. Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in app automation framework development. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Kotlin for Android automation. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Swift or Objective-C for iOS automation. Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools/frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, Earlgrey, XCUITest. Hands-on experience in creating groups and parallel testing using TestNG/JUnit. Strong understanding of Yaml, XML, REST/HTTP, and JSON. Experience in writing clear and optimized test cases. Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control systems (e.g.Git). Experience in generating and sharing reports. Solid understanding of the Android application lifecycle and UI components. Stay up to date with the latest tools and technologies in mobile automation testing. Ability to analyse and translate requirements and development stories into test automation. Demonstrated proficiency in creating technical documentation. Build tools which can ease day to day tasks of the tech team. Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience with the Espresso mobile automation tool. Hands-on experience with the EarlyGrey/XCUITest mobile automation tool. Hands-on experience with cloud-based CI solutions to execute test cases. Hands-on experience with Rest-Assured.
