Responsibilities: The Finance Functional Process Lead will be responsible to: Develop and configure functional and cross-functional requirements: o Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for assigned Workday Finance modules and processes. o Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and align with cross-functional dependencies. o Advocate for optimal business solutions and drive successful process implementation with SI (System Integrator) Develop and execute test strategies: o Partner with the SI to co-develop comprehensive test scenarios and scripts for assigned functionalities. o Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure functionality, data integrity, and system performance. o Analyze and interpret test results, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues. Support project success: o Assist the project support team with researching and resolving validation anomalies related to assigned functionalities. o Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact the system functionality, processes, project timeline or budget. Serve as the functional point of contact: o Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, S.I. partners, and other project team members. o Communicate effectively about the unique functional requirements, timelines, and expectations. o Provide insightful guidance and recommendations based on deep Finance expertise. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master's degree in a related field is a plus. A deep understanding of core Finance functions including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Non-Patient Revenue and Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Projects, Grants, Consolidation, Budgeting and Forecasting, Cash Management, and Financial Reporting is essential. Have experience in driving process improvement initiatives in a team environment. Possess experience with ERP system implementations, specifically in the FIN domain. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are crucial for success in this role. Healthcare experience is required. Workday experience is required.
