Description:

**Local candidates that can work onsite (Denver, CO 80202) are preferred. May consider remote candidates if they are exceptionally good fit, but the rate must reflect remote cost.

We are seeking a skilled IT Cost Management Analyst to join our team and collaborate with leadership on special projects aimed at enhancing the tracking and monitoring of corporate IT expenditures.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in Oracle systems, proficient financial analysis skills, and a strong ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. You will be responsible for aligning with leadership on spend analytics and spend management to drive effective tracking and monitoring for Corporate IT spend.

- Youll be working with IT, Finance, and various IT stakeholders across a global organization.

- This is an exciting opportunity because you will be able to collaborate with leadership and business owners to develop and implement strategies for effective tracking and monitoring of corporate IT spend.

- Review and analyze vendor quotes, program financials, and expenditure data against target budgets.

- Continuously assess and improve IT cost management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of IT cost management efforts with organizational goals and objectives.

- Provide recommendations to optimize IT expenditures and improve cost efficiency through IT FinOps chargebacks.

- Document and communicate processes and procedures related to IT cost management initiatives.

- Manage forecast submissions and compare them against financial plans to identify variances and trends.

- Assist with Purchase Order management, tracking, allocations to align efforts with supplier purchases and net terms.

ABOUT YOU

- 10+ year experience in IT FinOps, financial analysis, business administration, budgeting/chargebacks, or related field. Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required advanced degree or professional certifications are a plus.

- Strong proficiency in Oracle systems and other financial management tools.

- Microsoft 365 proficient advanced Excel skills preferred, Power BI is a plus.

- Project Management or PMP certification.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in financial analysis and reporting.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Organized, able to support and manage multiple projects, flexible to accommodate changing business needs.

- Experience in documenting processes and procedures related to financial management or IT governance is desirable.

- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
