| SAP One Source, Tax software integration Consultant Location: Hoboken, NJ ( Remote) Duration: Contract Job Description Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their unique tax needs and financial goals. Stay up-to-date on the latest tax laws and regulations through ongoing research and professional development. Maintain clear and concise client records, ensuring confidentiality and data security. May utilize tax software programs to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency. Collaborate with other professionals within the firm, such as accountants and financial advisors, to provide comprehensive client service. Analyze client tax data and prepare filings within the One Source platform, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain integrations between the OneSource tax platform and ERP systems like SAP to streamline tax processes. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements for tax automation projects and translate them into technical solutions. Conduct thorough assessments of tax data and workflows to identify opportunities for automation and optimization. Design, implement, and test custom solutions within the OneSource platform to meet specific tax compliance and reporting requirements. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users of the OneSource platform, including resolving integration issues with ERP systems. Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance in software development efforts. Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of tax operations. Qualifications: Twelve (12) or more years of experience in accounting, taxation or a related field. Demonstrated experience working within the One Source platform is a must. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred. Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues in a clear and concise manner. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
