Job Description - Need only local to CA Senior DevOps Engineer/Architect 6+ months Hybrid - Newport beach, CA Any visa but No USC/GC & H1B Finance domain is preferred Required: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 8+ Years of Proven experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools, specifically GitLab, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and JFrog Artifactory. Strong experience with AWS services, including EKS, and familiarity with private cloud environments. Strong knowledge and experience in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Proficient in infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Terraform and AWS CDK. Strong knowledge and programming experience in Java, .NET, Angular, Go, Python, and Bash scripting. Experience with version control systems (Git). Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration abilities. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain the CI/CD pipeline infrastructure using GitLab, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD to support automated code deployment and testing. Integrate AWS services, including EKS for Kubernetes orchestration, to enhance our cloud-based deployment strategies. Utilize Terraform and AWS CDK for infrastructure as code practices, ensuring scalable and maintainable infrastructure provisioning. Work within private cloud environments as well as public cloud (AWS) to ensure a secure and efficient deployment pipeline. Implement and manage JFrog Artifactory for artifact storage and management, ensuring an efficient build and deployment process. Develop scripts and automation tools using Go, Python, and Bash to improve pipeline processes and integration. Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and services into the CI/CD pipeline seamlessly, with a focus on Java, .NET, and Angular-based applications. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance and reliability across all environments. Implement security best practices within the CI/CD process to safeguard our applications and data. Document CI/CD processes, maintain version control for pipeline configurations, and provide training and support to development teams. Job Description: Responsible for the overall system design. Documents development requirements for database, applications, and operation system environment. Consults with end users to test and debug applications to meet client needs. Serves as expertise in all aspects of designing and application development. May conduct training to IT Staff. Requires a bachelor's degree and may be expected to have an advanced degree in area of specialty and at least 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
