External Job Description
:

Content Programming is responsible for ensuring global frameworks drive audience engagement and discovery with local relevance. The Sr Content Programming Manager (Contract) will be responsible for managing content programming through publishing programming, and coordinating projects. This position will report to the Manager, Content Programming.          

Basic Qualifications  Focus on major areas of work, typically 20% or more of role % of Time

Own day-to-day editorial operations for areas within the service, including creating and updating pages, content calendars, QC updates, and other deliverables as needed.

Build, publish, and manage content programming in the CMS and other tools with accuracy and efficiency to maximize audience engagement and retention

Facilitate verbal and written communications between teams, and to the larger organization

Pull data analytics to gain and share merchandising insights around audience, title, platform, and other elements

Collaborate on regional and territorial editorial merchandising and promotion

Partner with programming data & insights to take action on findings

Partner with programming content optimization on testing needs, and testing implementation as needed

Partner with marketing and global programming teams to ensure all priorities are coordinated appropriately.

Partner with franchise and IP teams to support priority content campaigns.

Leverage title, service, market and behavior data, as well as audience research to drive data and analytics that determine effective programming strategies

Sustain existing projects or leading projects as assigned

Provide programming coverage for priority titles and campaigns as needed

Act as liaison or advocate with business partners as needed

Preferred Qualifications         Experience/Skills/Training:

Minimum and Preferred. Inclusive of Licenses/Certs (include functional experience as well as behavioral attributes and/or leadership capabilities)

Deep understanding of content library, brands, franchises, and characters.

5+ years experience in digital media, programming, and marketing.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Strong understanding of digital media platforms, including hands-on management of web, app, streaming, and connected devices.

Experience with CMS, data, and other tools (Excel, Google Workspace, etc.) to operationalize and execute day-to-day responsibilities

Strategic, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset

Superior organizational, prioritization, and time management skills; ability to execute against multiple, high-priority projects, with a keen attention to detail

Must be open to thinking outside of traditional models

Highly developed written and verbal communications skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management, staff, and external research professionals.

Advanced data literacy.

Passion and insight into segments, brands and franchises, the elements that define them, and expertise to build further audience engagement.

Can manage multiple projects in varying stages of development.

Able to lead people (both direct teams and indirect teams) to deliver above expectations

Highly organized with excellent follow through

Proven ability to work across a matrixed organization while also able to self-motivate.

Demonstrated ability to thrive working in an extremely fast-paced environment.

Required Education   Required Education:

Bachelors degree minimum.
