Job Description: Velocloud SD-WAN Engineer Responsibilities: Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks (VeloCloud SD-WAN, Cloud inter-connect, B2B VPN network, etc.) Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, wireless AP and controllers, Velocloud SD-WAN. Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation. Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security. Designing and implementing complex network routing composed of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP. Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting. Arranging scheduled upgrades and maintenance. Troubleshooting and Investigating faults in the network and application issues as related to network. Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases. Reporting network status to key stakeholders. Degree and certifications: Hold a degree in computer science or electrical and electronic engineering.
