This role involves managing the lifecycle of products to ensure operational availability, analyzing capacity and performance data, and providing expertise in mainframe languages, software change management solutions, and development tools. Primary Responsibilities: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in mainframe technology. Participate in infrastructure planning and provide insights into the future of mainframe technology. Maintain a thorough understanding of current and future infrastructure requirements. Establish, document, and publish mainframe language and development tools directions and technology roadmaps. Coordinate cross-departmental projects involving mainframe application migrations. Demonstrate broad technical knowledge across multiple technologies, or in-depth knowledge of one technology with its impact on others. Stay updated on new developments in the mainframe technology domain. Build productive networks with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and industry peers.
