DataStage Consultant Location: Jersey City, NJ, United States Onsite Flexibility: 80% Remote ONE DAY WEEK IN JERSEY CITY, NJ MUST BE LOCAL with Local DL MUST WORK FOR NY/NJ COMPANY MUST HAVE LINKEDIN PROFILE THAT MATCHES YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH A PHOTO Job description Support of IBM DataStage ETL processes, SQL server and Oracle based applications. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the reliability and availability of applications. Root cause analysis of both technical and functional issues. Develop and modify existing ETL processes, Write SQL and PL/SQL queries. Involve in Design and develop functional specifications and technical documents. Develop, test, and deploy applications using Azure cloud services, with a strong emphasis on Databricks. Working closely with various stakeholders such as business customers, vendors, and internal teams to provide support. Must have strong experience in developing and supporting IBM DataStage components - DataStage Designer, DataStage Director, DataStage Administrator and IBM information server. Have good experience with Oracle PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions) Thorough understanding of DW principles (Fact Tables, Dimensional Tables, Dimensional Data Modeling - Star Schema and Snowflake Schema, OLTP, OLAP and Data Warehousing concepts). Nice to have experience in Azure Data Platform services (Azure Data Lake (ADLS), Data factory (ADF), Azure SQL DW, Databricks), SQL Server, Oracle, Data Warehouse etc. Ability to recreate existing legacy application logic and functionality into Azure Data Factory/Data Lake, SQL Database and SQL Datawarehouse environment. Excellent Communication and Analytical skills. 5+ years of experience in the above tech stack.
