In this role, you will engage in projects and initiatives related to Information Technology and the creation of tools and processes that promote employee efficiency while contributing to the operational uptime of our autonomous fleet. This role may also include some aspects of website development/maintenance and support of operational data analytics databases and dashboards. As a SAP Administrator, you'll: Act as data steward for SAP data management (e.g. Vehicle list, Work Center, Measuring points and counters, Maintenance Task list, Maintenance plan, Catalog Codes, maintaining the Vehicle and Equipment lists). Work with the Business applications team for As-Maintained BOM structure clean-up activities in SAP and to resolve issues resulting in data inaccuracies. Provide configuration management support in SAP for Base Operations ahead of company milestones. Identify and lead SAP product improvement and automation initiatives by collaborating with the Business Applications team. Evaluate SAP user experience for the current system, identify and lead improvement initiatives. Be the go-to expert for the SAP system, provide maintenance and troubleshooting for any problems when they arise. Work with the internal training team to build out module-specific training targeted toward various BaseOps SAP users. Provide general IT application support for vital Base Operations systems/infrastructure, interface with the corporate IT teams and advocate the needs of the department. Drive IT infrastructure and application improvement projects based on learning from data analytics and feedback from customers. Provide development, maintenance, and operational support for the Technical Publications/service manual authoring application, release software, and customer website. Improve the current documentation review process by working in coordination with the BaseOps documentation team. Support the development and usage of data analytics tools/ dashboards to help improve the operational efficiency of the BaseOps team and the autonomous fleet. Lead data auditing and compliance to ensure better data accuracy and governance across operations. Work with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology 5+ years of experience in a similar system admin support role Proven skills with G Suite products Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar ticketing and Wiki services GUI implementation - understanding what the user needs. Being able to understand what user wants to get out of the modules they are creating. Having end user interaction and experience. Need to be able to talk to different groups that will be using SAP module Individual needs to be a great cross communicator and have the ability to communicate information to several departments Java coding experience is a plus but not a requirement Experience with Web development tools like Oxygen and setting up related data analytics Experience with UI development/maintenance including UX studies Prior experience working on ERP systems Proven ability to cross-integrate multiple platform systems General IT system awareness Exceptional verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize daily workload and other assignments Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and diagnose issues Bonus Qualifications: Experience with SAP ERP/SAP certification Experience developing web applications Experience with mobile solutions (tablet/phone) is a plus Experience with developing dashboards and data analytics tools Experience in a highly dynamic start-up environment Prior systems support of vehicle fleets Must haves: SAP experience in either of the following: Transactional operations Enterprise resourcing Enterprise asset modules ERP - can be a user of the system, doesnt have to develop it Systems Admin/IT Support/Technical program manager experience Automotive is beneficial but not necessary Ticketing Systems (Jira preferred) ERP/SAP Admin with a focus on Enterprise Asset Modules (EAM)*** MUST HAVE (open to other modules but EAM is most important) This role acts as a liaison between the business SAP team and the BaseOps team (this individual will sit on the BaseOps team but will communicate a lot with Engineering team) Will manage transaction operations in ERP including material management, production planning, etc EAM for parts ordering, vehicle lists, maintenance plans, etc Overall, the day to day for this role is process improvement. Reviewing old processes and seeing opportunities for optimization through SAP Must have recent experience in this type of role (at least within their last 2 roles).
