From the Hiring Manager: This project will improve the performance of Identity Access Management (IAM) platform. This project is currently planned to run through mid-2023. Ive included some specific requirements for the roll. Issues with the current PM (not Atlas) include a lack of proactive engagement on tasks, and inadequate project management rigor on risk/issue management, documentation, and cost management. Description: The Project Manager will be working closely with the Global Digital Workplace Operations and IT teams, as well as a third-party technology vendor. Ability to motivate the project team and vendor to achieve project objectives through successful completion of project tasks; effectively prioritize and coordinate the activities of the team; make sure qualification activities are executed according to a plan for timely completion and aligned with key milestone dates. Job responsibilities: Manages multiple, global project work streams specifically related to global Infrastructure and related systems in support of access management platform. Prepares and manages project timelines, scope documents and other project documentation. Manage project execution plan, collaborating with project sponsors and vendor on project resources, risk assessment and planning as required. Ensures that plans are developed to measure and monitor progress. Reviews status of project and prepares/updates status reports. Communicates progress and escalates key decisions, issues, risks, and opportunities as required to achieve project objectives and deliverables. Arbitrate and resolve issues and conflict within the project team and between functional partners and vendor. Project Communication and Change Management: Assure effective project team and internal/external stakeholder communication, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues. Assure that project documentation is kept current, clear, and transparent and is communicated as appropriate. Escalate key decisions, issues, risks, and opportunities as required to achieve project objectives. Help to manage and build relationships with vendors, as needed to meet the project timeline. Strong project financial management tracking and reporting experience. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills on global projects across multiple time zones. Must be proactive and engaged on tasks, rigor on risk/issue management, documentation, and cost management. The ideal candidate should be accountable and willing to drive project deliverables. Must be highly organized with the ability to manage through ambiguity. Demonstrated expertise in teambuilding and interpersonal skills across cultures. Additional technology domain experience required: The role requires a strong business orientation and a proven ability to strategize and implement highly impactful projects and initiatives that support the company's business strategy. The job requires strong project management skills and the candidate should be motivated by the desire to optimize productivity and nurture project/program success from inception to completion.
