From: Anuj, Vyze inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Job Title: (OIPA) Oracle Insurance Policy Administrator LEAD DEVELOPER Location: McKinney, TX (Hybrid/partially on-site at client) local candidates preferred, relocation candidates considered Duration: 7+ months Visa: NI H1B/CPT Job Duties and Responsibilities: * OIPA Developer / Configurator Position requires to work with Business, Technical teams to gather technical requirement necessary to establish, implement new functionality and maintain the Oracle Insurance Policy Administration System and PAS environment. * Work on problems involving the evaluation of specifications for complex business requirements and processes (new, enhancements, maintenance), and develop and prepare technical solutions and documents. * Review and interpret architectural and technical design documents to develop complex OIPA transactions and processes using best practice OIPA configuration techniques. * Monitor, Analyze and Configure the OIPA Application to ensure optimal performance, components such as WebLogic Web/App, Database and Linux. * Design logical queries to facilitate calculations, reporting and complex formulas. * Perform functional gap analysis, review design documentation, and participate in design reviews. * Research and correct defects. * Work with peers to identify standardization opportunities. * Lead other configurators during some phases of projects and production support. * Strong understanding of OIPA database schema and relational objects inherent to it * Develop AsFile, Real-time and Push integration services. * Research and evaluate system capabilities for integrating product, service, and technical solutions to enable business partners. * Experience with REST services with proven ability to implement solutions. * Expertise in entity based logical modeling and data throughput optimization. * XSLT and OIPA configuration expertise required. * Support complex deployments and migrations. * Proactively assess short/long term design implications that would impact effective and efficient operations of the overall OIPA ecosystem. * Identify, recommend, and implement standardization and consolidation opportunities as the system is implemented across the organization. * Work closely with internal OIPA Configuration teams as well as Oracle Development team to manage OIPA Issues, requests, and Incidents. * Develop Technical Design Documents * Perform code reviews. * Lead other configurators during some phases of projects and production support. * To ensure the program management team can make timely decisions all configurators must ensure project artifacts such as estimates, work completed, work remaining, task status, etc. are maintained daily. * OIPA v10 or v11 Database and Application Design, configuration, or upgrade. * Practical working knowledge of insurance life and health products for individual, group, and worksite markets * At least 4,000 hours (2 years) of hands-on configuration experience on life or health products using OIPA V10 or V11 * Comprehensive working knowledge of database concepts and a strong understanding of SQL query building and optimization * DI Queue configuration and setup troubleshooting of issues with JMS messaging with WebLogic or WebSphere. * LOMA certification and knowledge of typical insurance business functions including - underwriting and policy issue, payment processing, monthaversary, anniversary, disbursement, withdrawal, correspondence, nonforfeiture, lapse processing, state reporting, billing, policy servicing, product set-up, health claims processing, life claims processing. * Knowledge of Oracle SOA and BPM is desired. * Experience with OIPA Cycle and DI monitoring and troubleshooting Keywords: information technology Texas (OIPA) Oracle Insurance Policy Administrator LEAD DEVELOPER!!Location: McKinney, TX || [email protected] |
