Technical Skills & Knowledge Work on an Agile development team to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using deep expertise in distributed microservices, big-data technologies (HIVE, Presto, Spark, Hadoop, etc.) and full-stack systems. Collaborate with the cross-functional team to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios and deliver technical solutions to those objectives. Develop fluid user experiences using Angular framework. Develop API platform to serve big data at interactive speed; built on AWS using AWS Well-architected principles. Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, and participate in internal & external technology communities to drive innovation. Demonstrate growth mindset, ownership, customer obsession, and strong judgement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other relevant Engineering field. 10+ years' experience in Software Engineering with demonstrated leadership traits. 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular/React.js, Node.js, or SQL 2+ years' REST/web services experience and writing complex SQL queries against Relational databases 2+ years of experience designing and developing UI. Expertise in html, CSS, JavaScript and Angular framework. 3+ years of experience working with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Presto) Experience working with the following technology stack: Amazon Web Services (AWS), EMR Hive/Presto, ECS, Lambda, S3, DevOps and CI/CD, Jenkins, CloudFormation Basic understanding of one or more scripting languages (Unix Shell, Python, Perl, etc.) Thanks and Regards!!
