[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Network Engineer High Security Operations Center (HSOC) Location: Hybrid with a minimum of 2 days per week on-site -Tempe,AZ Duration: 12+ months Visa: USC/GC Overview: We are seeking an experienced network engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, managing, and maintaining SRPs new High Security Operations Center (HSOC), ensuring compliance with NERC-CIP standards and contributing to the security and functionality of our power system assets. Responsibilities: Collaborate with team members to design and implement a secure, functional network infrastructure Rack, cable, and configure networking hardware, including firewalls, Cisco switching, virtual server infrastructure, backup, and remote access solutions Create and implement network security measures in collaboration with SRPs Cyber Security team Manage vendor relationships for hardware and software procurement Address escalated network support issues, including occasional off-hours support Generate network status reports and adhere to NERC CIP requirements Report to the HSOC Manager and OT Infrastructure Senior Manager Requirements: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience as a network engineer in an enterprise network environment Experience in building out greenfield enterprise network systems, including configuring new equipment Advanced knowledge of network systems, including Cisco routing, Palo Alto firewalls, and VMWare server virtualization Familiarity with communication and routing protocols, such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, DNS, proxy, and VPN Proficiency in network analysis tools and troubleshooting network issues Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and problem-solving abilities Operational Technology (OT) and/or Utility experience preferred Ability to work remotely or on-site as needed, with a minimum of 2 days per week on-site Additional Information: Specific experience with network equipment and general infrastructure management is highly desired Certifications in Cisco routing, Palo Alto firewalls, and VMWare server virtualization are valued Must be proficient in fiber and copper cabling, SFPs, QSFPs, etc. Experience with Active Directory, antivirus software support, and server maintenance is advantageous Joining our team presents an opportunity to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge High Security Operations Center while working with a collaborative and dynamic team.
