Role name: Python Developer San Antonio,TX (Day one onsite- No remote) Role Description: Identifies and resolves business systems issues Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operation systems Measures effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems Develops and implements strategies to improve systems EDA: Conduct exploratory data analysis activities (for example, basic statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, statistical inferences) on available data Model Deployment and Scaling: Requires knowledge of impact of variables and features on model performance, understanding of servers, model formats to store models Data Visualization: Requires knowledge of Visualization guidelines and best practices for complex data types; Multiple data visualization tools (for example, Python, R libraries, Gplot, Matplotlib, Ploty, Tableau, PowerBI etc.) Essential Skills: In-depth understanding of formal Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes Strong experience with Python and R (preference to have experience across multiple programming languages) Experience (3+ years) and understanding of R, RStudio, RStudio Connect, RStudio Package Manager, R Suite, Web, and Cloud Technologies Strong database experience with SQL, ETL Hands on in statistical software packages Knowledge and application of Data Science principals and experience with data science methodologies. Experience with the following statistical and predictive modeling approaches: Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, K-Means, Neural Networks; Gaussian Process, Hierarchical Clustering .
