Title: ServiceNow Software Developer Location: Fully Remote( but candidate from Battle Creek, MI would be preferred ) Duration : 12+ months contract Visa Restrictions: ( must be a United States Citizen with Active Secret Clearance) Job Description: About the job: This is for Federal Project - Applicant must be a United States Citizen with Active Secret Clearance Roles and Responsiblities: Develop ServiceNow applications, including configuration, custom development, report development, and data migration, as required to meet business requirements. Implement third-party integrations with ServiceNow, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange between systems. Conduct unit testing to validate the functionality and performance of developed features and resolve any defects identified during testing. Manage the migration process of changes from development to production environments, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design solutions that leverage the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform. Provide technical design guidance to ensure the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of developed solutions. Document technical specifications, configurations, customizations, and integration workflows to facilitate knowledge transfer and future maintenance. Required Skills : In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in developing and configuring ServiceNow applications, including modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS for custom development and front-end customization within the ServiceNow platform. Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for integration purposes. Possession of a valid ServiceNow Software Developer certification is mandatory to demonstrate proficiency in developing and customizing applications on the ServiceNow platform. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required to ensure a solid foundation in software development principles and methodologies.
