Role: Simulation Analysis Engineer Location : Greensboro, NC Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description: We're seeking a qualified coworker to join our Cab Analysis team as a CAE Structural Analysis Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the future of transportation solutions within a cutting-edge research and development organization focused on delivering high-tech solutions to the North American market. As part of this dynamic team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, analyze complex systems, and ensure functional requirements are met through design recommendations. Your responsibilities will also include correlating full-vehicle digital twins to physical testing. Required Skills and Experience Minimum of Masters in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5+ years within the automotive industry for an OEM or a supplier. Experience in fatigue, vibration, and structural analysis preferred. Strong theoretical knowledge of strength in materials, advanced solid mechanics, and finite element analysis. Knowledge of vehicle architecture, truck systems, and product development. Materials knowledge with experience in testing material strength and fatigue properties. Software skills: ANSA, Nastran, Ansys/Abaqus, LS Dyna, Ncode. Preferable skills: Python coding, MATLAB, AI/ML knowledge. Demonstrated commitment to delivering on time with strict adherence to quality. Independent, proactive, continuously striving to improve. Strong presentation and communication skills.
