Your responsibilities will include monitoring, capacity analysis, tuning, troubleshooting, and leading efforts in root cause analysis. Additionally, you will contribute to automation efforts, facilitate disaster recovery exercises, and ensure documentation remains updated. This role demands expertise in Kubernetes, DevOps practices, Java development, and strong scripting abilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement monitoring solutions and create complex alerts and dashboards for production systems. - Provide capacity analysis and tuning for cloud applications in a Linux and container platform environment. - Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to provide support alongside other team members. - Lead troubleshooting, recovery, and root cause investigation efforts for incidents. - Analyze user requirements and problems to automate or improve systems, workflows, and scheduling. - Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. - Facilitate disaster recovery exercises and lead root cause analysis sessions to prevent future incidents. - Ensure thorough documentation is created and updated for related work. - Demonstrate strong understanding of UNIX operating systems and scripting languages. - Evaluate product and service solutions to enhance system capabilities. **Skill Requirements:** - Proficiency in Kubernetes with hands-on experience in infrastructure support. - Strong experience in DevOps practices for microservices using Kubernetes as an orchestrator. - Experience with cloud configurations and services, including API microservices. - Familiarity with tools such as NGINX, Docker, Postman, SOAP UI, ELK, Splunk, AppDynamics, CI/CD tools, and GitLab. - Experience in performance measures, tuning, capacity planning, contingency, and disaster recovery. - Strong scripting knowledge and experience. - Solid understanding of networking and routing concepts.
