Duration: 12 Months PLUS Description Job Title: DevOps Professional AWS (Professional) (SW1000928) Scope of Work: We are seeking a new Senior Devops Engineer to join Operational and Synthetic Monitoring. The squad provides an in-house synthetic monitoring solution for Swift Services. Job Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AWS cloud services. 3. Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFormation. 4. Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK. 5. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Fargate, etc. 6. Proficiency in one of the languages: Java or Python. 7. Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, etc. 8. Hands-on experience with implementing and managing distributed tracing and metrics collection for enhanced observability. 9. Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, and NACLs. 10. Experience configuring and managing AWS networking services such as VPC Peering, VPN, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway. 11. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. 12. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
