| From: UTTAM BARMAN, SONITALENTCORP [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] J ob Title Block/Data Protection Product Engineer Job Location - Main St, Salt Lake City, UT -Hybrid -Onsite from day one -Need to be local Duration - 6 Months+ Visa -Any Visa Mode Of Interview - Phone/Skype Note - Need LinkedIn Job Description Basic Qualifications Currently working within an enterprise-level storage environment Experienced in Pure Storage FlashArray block storage products and/or in Rubrik r6000 series data protection products Experienced in Brocade G series fabric switch products Capability to follow and deliver Product Development Life Cycle type documentation as part of the product evaluation and certification process Competent in Windows, Linux/UNIX-like operating systems, I/O and network stack tuning and performance profiling An understanding how to deliver reliable services out of unreliable components Familiar with DevOps tools and version control systems (SVN, GitLab) Familiar with SRE principles such as user journeys, SLI/SLO, and synthetic probers Strong analytical, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills Ability to adapt to new technolog Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, Bash or other scripting languages with a focus on testing and sound SDLC practices. Familiarity with hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, and Azure) Familiarity with hypervisors (ESX) Beneficial, but not required, experience in block storage (Dell, Hitachi), file (Netapp, Dell Unity), and/or backup solutions (Networker, DataDomain).
